Brick, concrete and metal - loft-style interior

The brick on the wall in the hall, which is separated from the living space by a wall, gives home warmth, on which, on the one hand, you can read the whole family story in the form of photos and paintings, and on the other, the client's dream poster - a poster with Frida Kahlo.

In the project, we tried to use as many natural finishing materials as possible: brick, concrete and metal. These are the elements of the loft style - raw, cold, unprocessed, but you can feel the warmth in this space: so that you want to sit with hot coffee on the sofa in the evening, light a fire in the fireplace and watch an old black and white cinema, create white noise that calms and puts you to sleep.

Brick, concrete and metal - interior in loft style

The entire ground floor is over 120 m2, but sitting on the couch we don't feel it at all. The original concrete ceiling and wall behind the TV and wooden elements visually separate the seating area and create a pleasant atmosphere and a cozy space. Throughout the house we kept one color scheme: shades of grey, white and wood. However, another condition of the project was to introduce a few strong accents, hence the idea for the lower bathroom with black tiles and the accent in the form of bottled green in the upper one.

Modern interiors in the loft style

Bathroom for the ground floor is a successful example of how black color can be used in interior design. Beautiful hexagons with an embossed pattern create a decorative wall and give the space elegance. To emphasize and delve into this atmosphere, we painted the wall with the door and the window opening black. An additional decorative element is a pattern of wood-like tiles on the floor and wall arranged at an angle of 45 degrees, and wooden elements on the ceiling - a reference to the living room and the rest of the ground floor.

In this bathroom as well as in the whole house, every detail is thought out: color balance, texture of materials and their arrangement, and of course interesting design solutions such as a hexagonal mirror. The second strong accent throughout the house are the beautiful "bottle green" tiles in the upper bathroom. This is a strong addition to the whole arrangement, however, with dark wood-like tiles and a metal shower enclosure, they create a unique whole.
